Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Olchi collects through this website, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
This website is run by Olchi (Olga Archybasova), a craft coffee roaster and sensory trainer based in Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. We are the “controller” of the personal information described below. You can contact us at olchi.mc@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
Enquiries and event briefs
When you use a contact form we receive your name, email address, any company, date, number of guests and message you choose to send. We use it to reply to you and to prepare a quote. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in answering enquiries, or taking steps at your request before a contract.
Newsletter and free sensory practice
If you subscribe we store your email address to send you the newsletter and details of events. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the link in every email or by writing to us.
Orders from the shop
When you buy coffee we process your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number (if you give one) and order details to take payment, deliver your order and give support. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored on this website. Lawful basis: performance of our contract with you. We keep order records for 6 years to meet tax and accounting obligations.
Class bookings
If you book a class by email we use your name, email address and any dietary or access information you share to run the class.
Website statistics
With your permission we use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used and how customers find the shop. Without your permission these cookies are not set. See our Cookie Policy.
Who we share it with
We only share information with service providers who help us run the business, under written terms: our website host, our email and form service, our payment provider and couriers (to deliver your order) and, if enabled, Google Analytics. We do not sell your information.
Transfers outside the UK
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on the UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum, so your information stays protected.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 12 months after the last contact, unless a booking follows.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Orders and invoices: 6 years.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or send it to you or another organisation (portability). Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email olchi.mc@gmail.com. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, telephone 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. This version was last updated on 4 November 2026.
